Prof Stephanie Henson
Principal Scientist at National Oceanography Centre
Honorary Professor at the University of Southampton
I lead the Biological Carbon Cycles research group. My work focuses on how climate change impacts marine phytoplankton populations and the subsequent effects on the ocean's biological carbon pump. We combine autonomous vehicles, satellite observations, in situ data, and biogeochemical models to understand deep-sea organic carbon fluxes.
